TARIFFS
Tariffs differ
according to the time of the year. [Summers
are magnificent, especially after the
first seasonal rains! Winter
nights are very cold, particularly in June and July! But
winter days are lovely!]

School tariffs are given below.
SCHOOL TARIFFS
January to December 2010:
The basic charge for pupils using dormitory accommodation (with three meals
included) has been increased with immediate effect to R240.00 per day. Pupils need to bring their own pillows, bedding, towels etc. For day-only trips
the charge per pupil is now R120.00 including lunch. There is no
additional charge for conference facilities.
As a full time catering staff
has now been employed, Parnassus no longer accepts self-catering school groups,
except groups camping at the river.
There is no charge for teachers and supervising staff (to a maximum of one
teacher for every 10 pupils).
Charges for staff in excess of this number are at the same rate as pupils.
Bedding (but not towels) is provided for all staff. [Alternatively the
fully-equipped and serviced chalets
may be booked for staff at the normal chalet rate less 25%. Each of
the two-bedroomed chalets can accommodate four persons.]
June / July 2010: Bookings for periods during the World Cup Soccer
need to be made early as it is expected that accommodation at
Parnassus will be at a premium - with all facilities fully
booked during this period.
